Made from our specially engineered SmartPottery™ ceramic, Plant Nanny stakes help plants stay healthier by releasing water into the soil where and when the plants need it. This optimal watering system prevents plant roots from drying out and pots and containers stay more uniformly moist. Excellent for use in house plants, hanging planters, container gardens, or any where you want plants to have a reliable source of water. Also use Plant Nanny Stakes when transplanting to help plants avoid root shock. Simply insert the Plant Nanny into the soil on one or both sides of a plant. Plants roots will grow around the stake and use water more efficiently.
Easy to refill Add-A-Bottle Stakes feature an innovative “drip free” adaptor that connects a standard water or soda bottle to a stake to increase the reservoir size to extend the tome between waterings. See when to water and grow healthier plants. Make sure to water plant once after putting stake in soil.

Important Note: Some soda/water bottles no longer work with the adaptor. Soda products made by Coca-Cola® will screw on but do not create a complete seal, so the Plant Nanny releases water too quickly and not as the soil requires it.
