(Organic) The cylindrical carrots are very sweet and flavorful, with a lovely orange color even when very young. The closer you plant the seeds, the smaller your carrots will be. This packet will plant approximately a 30 foot row.

In full sun and well drained soil, sow 3 seeds per inch in the row. Cover seeds firmly with soil. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin to 2 inches apart in the row. For fresh carrots all season, plant every 3 weeks until 75 days before first fall frost.

Too much water can cause carrots to crack. They should be kept weeded (a clean mulch can reduce this job). Also, place soil lightly over exposed roots to prevent cracking.

You can tell when eggplant is ripe by its glossy purple look. Harvest fruits while still shiny. Cut from the stem with a knife.

Start seed indoors 8 weeks before planting outdoors. Transplant when 3 inches tall. Or, sow directly in garden in sunny location after frost danger is past. Thin to 1 plant every 18 inches when 3 inches tall. Use a balanced fertilizer to increase production.

Plant hot and sweet peppers in separate areas to avoid cross-pollination. Pick peppers regularly to increase yields.
